Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?

Coaching is a mutual conversation between coach and client aimed at bringing about change, developing strengths, and reaching your chosen goals.  Sessions are very much led by you the client and my role as your coach is to actively listen, empathise and challenge, to help you see things from a different perspective in order to facilitate the changes you desire.

How is coaching different to counselling?

Firstly it is important to note that I am not a trained counsellor.

Counselling focuses on resolving past issues whereas coaching will help you to take the next steps forward with a focus on the future.

Is coaching for me?

Let's find out.  That’s why I offer a complimentary consultation to all potential clients.  Consultation calls allow us to get to know each other a little and explore whether coaching is right for you.  We look at the benefits of coaching and discuss what your focus will be if you decide to invest in coaching sessions.  Then if you feel it’s not for you, no problem, there’s absolutely no obligation.

How many sessions do I need and how much do they cost?

That depends on you.  Typically I offer blocks of 6 or 8 sessions but if you feel you need more or even less that’s absolutely fine, it’s totally flexible.  The price varies depending on what package you choose so it's always best to discuss that during our consultation call.

How long do sessions last?

Typically 45 mins - 1hr.  Again this is flexible and can be tailored to suit your needs and schedule.

Where do the sessions take place?

At the moment all sessions take place online via zoom.
